I’m done with trying to have it all and ending up with not much at all
"We’ve been kissing half the night, so I can safely say you are a great kisser on my standards" Aiden said, looking down at her with a grin. "And I know that’s not what you meant" he said quietly, laughing slightly
"Yeah… I can imagine your standats, virgin boy.", the blonde said teasing. "And what is amusing you so much now?"
Aiden shook his head and took a quick towards him before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her in close, kissing her hard. “Then let’s do something we are both good at” he murmured into her lips.
"I didn’t mean-", Rebekah tried to say, but then she already felt Aiden’s lips upon hers. "Something I am good at.", the blonde said smirking, pulling back a bit.
"I guess not, unless you let me take you out again" Aiden said with a smile, until he heard her sighing. "I’m sorry, am I boring you?" He teased, making her sigh more obvious
"What do you think?", Rebekah asked, turning her head toward Aiden, hearing his question. "I mean, we are just standing here… doing nothing.", the blonde pointed out.
"Then would you have rather gone to a small restaurant or movie theater? Cause I thought that might have been too boring for you" Aiden admitted, giving her a slight shrug with a grin
"Since you picked this kind of date, I guess you will never find out.", warbled Rebekah, a slightly arrogant smile upon her lips. The blonde took a deep breath and looked around.
"You talked about your dead brother earlier, I’m just giving my reasons why I didn’t take you hunting instead of dinner and horseback riding" Aiden said defensively. "I don’t think many humans go hunting, and I’m pretty sure dinner and horseback riding is something humans do often" he laughed, watching her cross her arms again.
"Because you kept talking about it.", Rebekah said, defending herself. "And most human, at least human nowadays would have went into the cinema or eat in a little restaurant."
"Like I said before, I used to do that with my brother, I couldn’t with someone else" Aiden explained, feeling a slight pain in his heart when he mentioned his brother. "I’m talking human standards, not vampire" he said with a grin, listening to her teasing voice.
"Little hint, talking about your dead brother isn’t the greatest turn on at a date.", Rebekah told him. "Maybe I was talking human standards as well?" The blonde crossed her arms in front of her chest, as she said this, a few moments later she dropped her arms again.
"I don’t kill people who don’t deserve to be killed, and is that a stab at me being a werewolf? Cause I’m mostly human." Aiden pointed out, a little offended. "I don’t know, this was a pretty run of the mill kind of date" he said with a shrug
"See? I kill everyone I want to kill.", the blonde vampire said with a shrug. "Maybe it was for you, virgin boy.", Rebekah said with a little, teasing smile.
"I asked you if you wanted to go hunting and you said no, and anyways, this is like, a human real life date, so I guess for people like us it would be strange" Aiden said with a shrug
"Because you said you don’t want to kill anymore, I am no animal, I don’t go hunting.", she said slightly arrogantly. "I have already been on human real life dates and they haven’t been that strange."
"See, to me that would be a pretty strange date. I would like to think this was a fairly normal date compared to that" he grinned, holding her tightly and kissing the top of her head lightly.
"No, no it wasn’t.", Rebekah said, shaking her head. "That was definitely not as strange as this.", the blonde told him.
